Research was done, garlic consumed and we were ready to start taking Worm Out! We happened to be moving while we were beginning the herbal portion of the protocol so I was careful to set an alarm to make sure we took it at least 3 times a day (first few days we took it 4-6 times per day).
One thing I was pleasantly surprised about was the taste. It is a really enjoyable flavor. I preferred taking it “straight” and my son liked taking it in water. It’s nice and minty, and was refreshing on a hot summer day.
We didn’t notice much of a difference on the first couple days. On day 3 we began to notice some changes. I have a patch of eczema on my left arm that is always bumpy and dry. I had a prescription wash and cream for it as a kid. It’s been that way as long as I can remember, my Mom thinks it started when I was around 5. On the evening of day 3, the skin started to flake on my arm. By the end of the first 10 days my skin was almost completely cleared up and the eczema was totally gone by the end of the protocol!! (Eczema is often linked to parasites) There were a couple spots of dry skin left but no more eczema.
On night 3 (and from then on) my son slept better than he’d slept in a couple weeks and stopped complaining about an itchy bottom.
Day 4- My son said his skin felt like it was “crawling.” This is, apparently, a common phrase kids use when going through parasite cleanse. We both had a few loose bowel movements but nothing major.
By the end of day 6- My joint pain was gone, my “brain fog” was mostly decreased, I was much more alert upon waking than I’d been in years, both my son and I were no longer experiencing sugar cravings, my headaches were gone. If you’ll remember from my symptoms post, I had experienced chronic headaches and joint pain for years. Needless to say, I was feeling awesome.
Then the detox kicked in… and I felt LOUSY. Sometimes detoxing can do that. Come back next week to read about what detoxing was like!
