Worm Out: What it is, what to expect and why you might want to consider giving it a try!

Worm Out - Everything you need to know & why you might want to give it a try!

Today we’re going to start a series on something most of us, especially Americans, are squeamish about.

I’m talking parasites, intestinal worms, pinworms and more.  Like it or not, you probably have them.  Most studies show 75-85% of Americans have some sort of worm/ parasite and don’t know it.  This is one of the most undiagnosed health conditions and can lead to some pretty significant issues long-term.

In this multi-week series, you’ll learn what a parasite is, where they come from, common symptoms, and more about TriLight’s Worm Out protocol.  I’m also going to share my family’s experience of discovering pinworms in our 5-year-old and the drastic results I saw from treating myself with Worm Out as well.

First I’d like to introduce myself a bit more.  My name is Amanda and I live in Boulder, CO with my husband and son.  I’ve been blogging and helping out with social media for TriLight for the last year and a half.  Prior to working with TriLight I used a number of the products and was impressed with the high quality and fast action.  Needless to say, I was grateful to be given the chance to help out with the company!  (I never expected I’d be writing this series or using Worm Out though!!)

I love studying about herbs, essential oils, and natural remedies.  I’ve taken a number of essential oil courses and am currently taking a comprehensive herbalism program.  Eventually, I hope to become a practicing herbalist.  For now, I’m loving learning and teaching others! I work with a couple other companies and run a blog called Treehouse Daily.

In my free time, I love to do crafts, be outdoors in the beautiful Colorado wilderness, bullet journal, hand letter, watch football and lacrosse, and play board games.  My son will be 6 this fall and he keeps me busy!  I also love to cook and spend lots of my time in the kitchen.  I’m currently following the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) as I battle with multiple autoimmune diseases (more on that later in the series) Recently my family purchased a vintage Airstream which we plan to renovate and live in full-time so we’ve been busily downsizing, and working to become a Zero Waste household.  Feel free to hop on over to my blog and learn more!

Personally, I am excited and nervous to share our Worm Out experience with you.  Excited because I honestly had no idea it would make such a HUGE difference in my health.  I’ve been battling some pretty significant health challenges in the last several years and feel like I turned a corner.  Nervous because, well, what goes in must come out.  Yep, I’m going to blog a bit about poo.  I’ll keep it minimal but it is a pretty significant part of the process.

I hope you’ll tune in the next several weeks as I share about the symptoms my son and I had, our experience on Worm Out and what our lives have been like since.  It is my hope to give you some ideas of what you might expect and why you may want to consider trying Worm Out.

Come back next week to learn more about what a parasite is and the symptoms they can cause.
