FAQ- What is RO water-

If you’ve read through the ingredient list on our products you’ll see “reverse osmosis water” listed on many of them.  This seems like an awfully big word for water and many people often wonder what exactly Reverse Osmosis Water is.  Put simply it’s a high-quality water filtration system that removes just about everything from the water.

The Reverse Osmosis filtration process removes about 99% of everything from the water but the actual water itself.   This method of filtration forces the water at high pressure through a semipermeable membrane resulting in the purest water you can find.  RO water is used in homes, restaurants, manufacturing, and systems are being perfected to get smaller and equally efficient.  Individuals desiring RO water at home can purchase a home filtration system or the water is available for purchase at many health food stores.

Many people who learn about or utilize RO water are concerned about the lack of minerals in the end product.  Some RO systems will actually add the minerals back in or mineral drops can be purchased to add the benefit of minerals but have contaminant free water.

At TriLight we utilize RO water in many of our products during our Liquid Light process.  This helps ensure we have a clean and pure final product for you to enjoy.
